Massive paintings

This lifetime project began over a decade ago. The dream is to complete all twelve massive paintings of the best known and most powerful historic landscapes of Zimbabwe, as a tribute to the people of my country. A book will finally annotate this long endeavor.

Each painting is approximately 1 x 3m / 40 x 115 inches in size and takes many months of field work, detailed drawing and endless hours of painting.

Each completed piece has been privately commissioned. Six are done, numbers seven and eight are in progress. Four await commissioning.
